Phoenix Vineyards, Rancho Napa 2006, 'Napa Valley Red Wine"
Phoenix Vineyards is a small family owned Napa Valley vineyard known for its small production of very carefully blended wines. This robust red is a classic eastern Bordeaux blend, similar to the rich spicy wines of Fronsac. We are impressed by its intensity and depth. Thoroughly enjoyable now, it is a good candidate for aging; let it open up and breathe for about thirty minutes and enjoy! The flavors are big and spicy, intense berry with hints of chocolate and smoke, the texture is rich and smooth, this is An elegant red in spite of its 'big' character. Only 300 cases produced.

Domaine Ligneres "La Baronne" 2003
Lush and vibrant, voluptuous and racy all describe this great full bodied red from the Montagne d'Alaric in Corbieres. Easy to enjoywith broad flavors that make it perfect for hearty winter meals. A blend of Carignan 60%, Grenache 35% and Mourvedre 5%.

Masciarelli Montepulciano "Marina Cvetic" 2004
Masciarelli is one of the great winemakers of Abbruzzo and "Marina Cvetic" is one of the great stars of the region. The grapes are harvested fairly late after achieving full ripeness, in October. The resulting wine is dense and intense, with great depth. It bursts with exotic spicy berry flavors, perfect with roasted and grilled meats and full flavored cheeses. Impressive! 100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.

Cincinnato "Illirio" 2006
We love this bright zesty and full bodied white from the Roman region of Lazio. This blend of grapes from the volcanic hillsides of Cori (south of Rome) delivers a complex glass of wine. Lively and citrusy, it is surprisingly rich with hints of rich tropical fruits. Crisp and bright, it is vinified completely in stainless steel and in spite of its distinctive 'buttery' character, sees no oak. Full and round in the mouth, the finish fruity and lively. Interesting and
delicious! For roast poultry, creamy seafood and pasta.
